Marco Ferrante

The young Neapolitan tenor, Marco Ferrante was born in Pomigliano d'Arco. He received with great success his doctorate in singing at the Conservatory "Domenico Cimarosa" in Avellino. He participated in various music competitions and in 2013 he was awarded of the "Giacomo Maggiore" prize. Despite his young age, Marco Ferrante frequently performed in theaters, academies, operas, for cultural and musical events both in Italy and abroad.

He has a bright and glorious voice and is appreciated by critics as a great talent in the bel canto and an important promise of the lyric panorama.

His rich repertoire includes lyrical music, classic Neapolitan songs, sacred songs, traditional and international songs, both known and unknown nature.

Recently,  Marco Ferrante has sung, accompanied by Simone Cozzolino, pianist under an Italian event in Austria in Mozarthouse and Mozarteum under the theme "Neapolitan poetry from Italian translated into German" and "Neapolitan poetry meets Mozart in Salzburg" in Vienna and Salzburg, Mozart arien from Cosi fan tutte "Un`aura amorosa" as Donizetti arien from L'elisir d'amore "Quanto è bella, quanto è cara".
