Marco Ferrante

He received with great success his doctorate in singing at the Conservatory "Domenico Cimarosa" in Avellino. He participated in various music competitions and in 2013 he was awarded of the "Giacomo Maggiore" prize. Despite his young age, Marco Ferrante frequently performed in theaters, academies, operas, for cultural and musical events both in Italy and abroad. He has a bright and glorious voice and is appreciated by critics as a great talent in the bel canto and an important promise of the lyric panorama. In the recent years he has performed in Austria at the "Minoritenkirche", at the United Nations Office in collaboration with the Club Filipino, at the Wiener Saal of the Mozarteum in Salzburg, at the "Mozarthaus" in collaboration with UNESCO club in Vienna. His rich repertoire includes lyrical music, classic Neapolitan songs, sacred songs, traditional and international songs, both known and unknown nature. Recently he was a special guest for the G20 ministerial meeting in Sorrento
